Manchester United target Claude Makelele is demanding to know what his club have planned for him after weeks of uncertainty hanging over his head.

Ferguson is a big fan

The Real Madrid midfielder is attracting interest from several European clubs including the likes of Arsenal and ourselves but Makelele claims he doesn't know if Real want to keep him or sell him on.

"I talked with the officials and it all depends on them," said the Frenchman.

"Now, if they want to part with me, I can't do anything about it. I know there are candidates, but, if I have the choice, I would prefer to stay in Madrid."
