More tha 68,000 fans turned out to show their respect to Solskjaer who played the final 22 minutes of the game at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.

The only goal of the game was scored by second half substitute Frazier Campbell just eight minutes before the final whistle.

Solskjaer, who was forced to retire from playing because of injury a year ago, will now concentrate his efforts on his new post at United where he is Reserve team coach.
