Sporting Lisbon midfielder Miguel Veloso will have Manchester United in his sights on Tuesday night - aware that he could seal a £10million move to Old Trafford.
Sir Alex Ferguson's brother, Martin, [yikes] who is United's European scout, has travelled to Portugal regularly in the two months since Veloso (right) excelled in Sporting's 1-0 Champions League home defeat at the hands of the Reds.
United may offer Brazilian twins Fabio and Rafael Silva on loan as part of a deal to sign Veloso.
His agent:
"We think so, some talks with Sporting. Informal contact, nothing official. I think any player would like to play for Manchester United, Miguel would - it would be an honour if it is possible January no, but perhaps next summer".
