VERON THANKS FERGIE

Juan Veron feels that he has finally settled into life in
England, and has thanked Sir Alex Ferguson for providing the
support that has made it possible:

"He's made a key role in me settling into life in England. I
think, from a football point of view, it is always important
you have a figure at the club who is always supporting you.
I have only ever got words of thanks for the manager and all
the staff at Manchester United."

Speaking on MUTV, Veron revealed that it has taken him two
seasons to feel fully at home:

"Time is very important, and with it being my second season
I'm used to everything now - fish and chips for example!”

However he has found the later part of the season
frustrating, having missed out on the title run in through
injury:

"I'm disappointed that it's come to the most important part
of the season with so many big games being played, to be out
for a month to six weeks is disappointing. But I can only
underline how well the lads have done to put us in the
position we are in. It just goes to show what a good squad
we have got, and hopefully we will go on to win it,"
