Outrageous as it may seem we have heard from three different sources (none of them Scottish based) in the last few days that United are preparing a £22m bid for Patrik Vieira. Make of it what you will but this is from a fairly reliable Arsenal source that allowed us to break the Arsenal Stadium story in backbeat three months before anyone else.
