Danny Wellbeck has been named in the England Under 21 squad for the upcoming 2011 UEFA European qualifiers against Portugal and Lithuania.

The United striker, who is currently nursing a knee injury, has been named in England coach Stuart Pearce's 22-man squad for the games against the Portuguese at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, 14th November and the Lithuanians in Vilnius three days later.
