WENGER HAS HIS SAY ON RIO

Just because Arsenal won't be making any big money signings this summer
doesn't mean Wenger won't be whining on about them. Wenger told
BBC Sport Online that he believes Leeds will lose Ferdinand and he expects
him to be United player by the start of the season. He compared the
Ferdinand story to Vieira's near departure last summer.

"There is a difference there because we issued the same statements about
Patrick saying that he would stay," said Wenger.

"Leeds look like they have a hesitation and once you show a hesitation it
means that you lose the player.

"So, now I think that Rio Ferdinand will go to Manchester United."

"I think it will make Manchester United stronger and Leeds weaker like we all
know.

"And of course he will be a strong asset for Manchester United."
