Wolves have denied that they are interested in signing United defender Denis Irwin.
There's been paper talk for some time that Dave Jones would move for Irwin and with the speculation kicking in again, Wolves have been forced to comment.
A Wolves spokeswoman said: "I'm surprised it has re-appeared now with the way the season's turned out. There has been no firm move at all."
