'It's a bit smaller than Old Trafford but I am excited to be here nonetheless. At United I was struggling to get into the reserve team so I see coming down here as a way of progressing my career. All I want to do is play first-team football.

'I think I was about eighth in line for a first team spot, they certainly weren't short of goalkeepers.

'But I have learned a lot off them, they would always take me to one side and offer some advice if I did something wrong so hopefully I can build on what I've learnt and develop it at this level.

'I am certainly excited by the prospect of joining Swindon, a club that I don't know too much about admittedly, but one that used to be in the Premiership,' he told the club's official website.'
