YOU'RE NO GOOD ANY MORE

United European Cup winner Jesper Blomquist thinks that United's time is up.

"United have always been the best because however much people hate them and want to beat them, they have stayed at the top because they were so much better than the rest. But United were not as strong last year and Arsene Wenger's Arsenal have moved ahead of them now.

They remind me of United at their peak and they have a great team spirit.

"Arsenal have shown how good they are already this season yet they still have big players to come back from injury. They play good football and have shown this season and last that they can score against any team."

He still loves Fergie though:

"I owe Sir Alex so much. He helped me enjoy the greatest time of my career. He is so loyal and looks after a player's future. That is why he has built such a successful team and club because the players respect him, admire him and want to win for him.

"Even now he has not forgotten me. It would be easy to forget people who have left because United is such a big club but that is the way he is. I love looking back on the good times there - but I want to look forward and make a fresh start now. The knees are fine and I have had no problems in almost a year.
