Manchester United need to increase their offer for Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo if they want to stand a chance to sign the 25-year-old Cameroon international winger.
The intial offer of £45m plus £10m in add-ons is well below Brentford’s valuation of the player, but the Bees remain in a strong negotiating position and will resist attempts to be lowballed.
Tottenham are also now monitoring developments, with former Brentford boss Thomas Frank now at the helm.
