Interim manager Michael Carrick has confirmed that Manchester United will be without Lisandro Martinez and Mason Mount for their trip to Newcastle United this evening.
Martinez is still recovering from a calf injury sustained in training while Mount remains sidelined with a knock.
The Red Devils are currently thin at the back with Luke Shaw also a major doubt due to illness.
Carrick stated that while it is disappointing to lose key players the squad must maintain the consistency shown in their recent win over Crystal Palace.
